David Wood Clothiers, to me, represents the epitome of gentlemanly understated elegance. Classic. New England borrowing heavily from its homeland:  England. And his blog reeks of masculine restraint and decorum. I'm swooning!

Brook There :: Portland

 

I really admire Brook There as an artisinal designer (as she refers to herself) and the creative yet determined ways she incorporates her artistic bents into practical applications...i.e. organic panties and bras. Perfection. She also offers other soft and sophisticated, simple yet hip items such as tops and arm warmers.....and the great sweater in the photo. Her blog is a nice read, too.
